Not the Expected Type of Read – So Much Better!
Wow…just wow!
For those of you who want to condemn this book based solely on what you THINK this book is about – STOP! It is not some weird bashing of the church filled with sex scenes.
This book IS an emotional roller coaster. One you will definitely get off at the end with your head spinning and your heart overjoyed.
Sometimes you pick up a book expecting one thing and it turns out to be a completely different experience. This is that type of book and one that truly blind-sided me.
Enjoy reading. That’s all I want to say without giving any spoilers and I hope that you don’t read any reviews that give spoilers because I really want you to enjoy this book as I did. I went in thinking it was a simple romance story and what I received was a completely different way to look at what I read.

When I first read the blurb for this, I was like, forbidden love? Yes! Controversy? Hell Yes! Where do I sign up? I devoured this incredible read in one sitting. It was just that good. It’s everything a fantastic book should be. It’s thought provoking, it makes you feel so many emotions at once you don’t know which way is up. And then you’ll hit a twist that will make you question everything you thought you knew. The way the author weaves this story together is just incredible. It’s EPIC & COMPLETELY MIND BLOWING! What do I think? Well I’m currently unable to think, because my mind is in tiny bits since it’s been blown away. With the Father is so different than anything I’ve read in a LONG time. It’s one of those stories that sets a clear stage and reels you in so that you feel like you are there. Right next to the characters as everything unfolds. Jenni’s writing is beautiful, and the story itself is just incredible. I miss it already. And the ending? Well, all I can say is read it and be prepared to have your emotions totally worked over.
