One day, sitting in traffic, married Dublin mum Stella Sweeney attempts a good deed. The resulting car crash changes her life.

For she meets a man who wants her telephone number (for the insurance, it turns out). That’s okay. She doesn’t really like him much anyway (his Range Rover totally banjaxed her car).

But in this meeting is born the seed of something which will take Stella thousands of miles from her old life, turning an ordinary woman into a superstar, and, along the way, wrenching her whole family apart.

Is this all because of one ill-advised act of goodwill? Was meeting Mr Range Rover destiny or karma? Should she be grateful or hopping mad?

For the first time real, honest-to-goodness happiness is just within her reach. But is Stella Sweeney, Dublin housewife, ready to grasp it?

Marian’s stunning new novel The Woman Who Stole My Life is about losing the life you had and finding a better one.

Yes please de Amy Poehler

DESCRIPCIÓN Y/O SINOPSIS DE ESTE EBOOK

In a perfect world . . .

We’d get to hang out with Amy Poehler, watching movies, listening to music, and swapping tales about our difficult childhoods. Because in a perfect world, we’d all be friends with Amy – someone who seems so much fun, is full of interesting stories, tells great jokes, and offers plenty of advice and wisdom (the useful kind, not the annoying kind you didn’t ask for). Unfortunately, between her Golden Globe-winning role on Parks and Recreation, work as a producer and director, place as one of the most beloved Saturday Night Live alumni, involvement with the website Smart Girls at the Party, frequent turns as an acting double for Meryl Streep, and her other gig as the mom of two young sons, she’s not available for movie night.

Luckily, we have the next best thing: Yes Please, Amy’s hilarious and candid book. A collection of anecdotes, essays, ideas, lists, and haikus from the mind of one of America’s most beloved entertainers, Yes Please offers Amy’s thoughts on everything from her ‘too safe’ childhood outside of Boston to her early days in New York City, her ideas about Hollywood and showbusiness, the demon that looks back at all of us in the mirror, and her joy at being told she has ‘a face for wigs’. A delight on every page, Yes Please is chock-full of words, and wisdom, to live by.

OPINIONES:

All you expect and more. Funny, brilliant, generous
Amy Poehler a) RULES, b) radiates energy, positivity, wile, and humor in her performances and appearances, and if you are in touch with your feelings, you want to be her best friend. This is it, people. She wrote a book for us.
Like a big sister or beloved camp counselor, AP is insightful and plain about her boundaries as a persona and a person, but somehow this makes you feel even more trusted and sated throughout. And it’s fuuunny, in the least self-conscious ways–like improv, really. Surprising and flowy. «Don’t think.» It’s all intimate and candid, pragmatic, funny, humble, meaningful. SNLers and other A-List stars are frequently mentioned, but I can’t remember any names named in negative light, or reputations sullied. A thoroughly classy memoir that still dives wholeheartedly into considered issues of conflict, dogma, shame, anger, and sadness. But mostly glee and passion. It’s all life, mofos! She knows who she is and isn’t going to dress it up. She’s concisely specific and warm about everyone she loves, and honestly, she makes me wish I were born in Boston, because that (along with her supportive, loving family) is what she points to throughout the book that gave her boldness, bravado, and clarity in a way a less brilliant and authentic comedian/personality/human wouldn’t know what to do with. Respect, Boston. And respect times a billion, Amy. It made me laugh and cry and think and readjust in all the best ways. And I devoured it. So glad you kept writing.

I loved this book
I loved this book! Let me start by saying that I am a big Amy Poehler fan so I have been waiting on this book. She was my girl on SNL and Parks & Rec might be one of my top 3 favorite shows of all time.
She tells us about her life growing up, about improv in Chicago and everything in between. I had no idea she has known Tina Fey so long. Tons of name dropping but in the best ways. Funny people do run together! It’s a fun, quick read.
She doesn’t talk about her divorce and does not trash her ex Will Arnett and that makes me respect and love her even more. The way she describes her children is beautiful and the enormous love she has for them is obvious through her words. It’s just a great book. If you like Amy Poehler, you will love it. If you are so so or unfamiliar with her, give it a chance, it might make you love her!

Amy Poehler, highly decent human being
This book turned me into a big fan of Amy Poehler. I’ve long been aware of her diverse talents as an entertainer, but this memoir reveals much about her values, priorities, work ethic, and character. I got a lot of inspiration from her take on friendship, her generosity toward pretty much everyone (except the man in First Class on the flight to Toronto), and her cogent one-line defense of bossy women.

The world of ice & fire de George R. R. Martin

DESCRIPCIÓN Y/O SINOPSIS DE ESTE EBOOK

THE NEVER-BEFORE-SEEN HISTORY OF WESTEROS AND THE LANDS BEYOND • WITH HUNDREDS OF PAGES OF ALL-NEW MATERIAL FROM GEORGE R. R. MARTIN.

If the past is prologue, then George R. R. Martin’s masterwork—the most inventive and entertaining fantasy saga of our time—warrants one hell of an introduction. At long last, it has arrived with The World of Ice & Fire.

This lavishly illustrated volume is a comprehensive history of the Seven Kingdoms, providing vividly constructed accounts of the epic battles, bitter rivalries, and daring rebellions that lead to the events of A Song of Ice and Fire and HBO’s Game of Thrones. In a collaboration that’s been years in the making, Martin has teamed with Elio M. García, Jr., and Linda Antonsson, the founders of the renowned fan site Westeros.org—perhaps the only people who know this world almost as well as its visionary creator.

Collected here is all the accumulated knowledge, scholarly speculation, and inherited folk tales of maesters and septons, maegi and singers, including

• full-color artwork and maps, with more than 170 original pieces
• full family trees for Houses Stark, Lannister, and Targaryen
• in-depth explorations of the history and culture of Westeros
• 100% all-new material, more than half of which Martin wrote specifically for this book

The definitive companion piece to George R. R. Martin’s dazzlingly conceived universe, The World of Ice & Fire is indeed proof that the pen is mightier than a storm of swords.

OPINIONES:

Not Bad, But Know What You’re Buying
I have no complaints about this book. 3 stars is the most I can give it, but, I knew what I was getting when I plunked down my money, so I hope that “only” giving it 3/5 isn’t seen as some sort of knock.
I would, however, like to post this review for those who are thinking about buying it and might want some more information. This is not Book 6 in the series, nor should it be seen as a substitute for it. It’s also not the Silmarillion. That is, i’ts not a detailed and exhaustive narrative on what has come before Books 1-5. It’s a coffee table book with gorgeous artwork and some tidbits of information on the world of Westeros, most of which will be posted in various wiki entries for free within 60 days.
I am enough of a die-hard fan of the series that, even knowing all of this, I was perfectly willing to pre-order it. If this label does not apply to you, however, you might want to think twice before paying $30 (more or less) for it.

Tries to hard to be to many things
Know what you are buying. Is this a book written by George R. R. Martin? Sort of. Is this a book written by two of his friends? Sort of. Is it a well illustrated book? Yes. Is this a definitive history of Westeros? Not at at all. In truth I am not really sure what to make of this book, it has very nice illustrations, but a lot the writing is clearly not Martins work and left me finally understanding how a dog feels when you speak to it and it just kind of tilts his head looking at you with that wtf look on it’s face. It left me wondering what exactly is the purpose of this book?
As a definitive history it falls short in ever aspect. The book is written in the form of an unreliable narrator and from the first page it’s clear much of the information is wrong. Martin himself has spoken of a book he will write in the future that will be called «Fire and blood.» Which will be like this book but much larger, more accurate, and hopefully written by Martin himself.
Now just to be clear both Elio and Linda have pointed out that they took liberties with the material Martin supplied them, filling in blanks with their own ideas and such. And that’s ok because the book is not suppose to be reliable, that’s the purpose of the unreliable narrator. Elio and Linda have also stated in a video on their own fan site that things are and can be wrong.
The book itself is suppose to be written in world but I have a hard time getting into the world because the writing is not really Martins and does not feel like his, the in character author of this book sort of jokingly points that out in the book. The style is different and the dialogue often becomes more modern in tone than Martins work. At other times it feels like I am reading a comic and yet other times a Dungeon Masters guide to Westeros. There are some issues with the names of characters that seem a bit more childish that Martins work such as Darkrobin, Talon, the Howling Mountain, and Druselka. It just did not feel like Martin to me and of course there is a reason for that.
The original idea according to Martin on his web site Not a blog was for this to be an illustrated book and Martin writing the sidebars. They probably should of stuck with that idea, and it would have been a true coffee table book. Instead it’s a sort of history, a sort of story, a sort of in world book, a sort of Martin book, a sort of fan book, a sort of illustrated coffee table book. It feels like it tries to be to many things and lacks a single focused idea of what it wants to be. That’s another problem with the book is that the writers try to hard to be something they are not, they are trying to be Martin. I know they say they are not, but they are, they chose the unreliable narrator, they chose to write in character in his world and in truth he is the only one who should be doing that.
Another problem is the price, 50 bucks at Barns and Noble, 30 bucks on Amazon, Really? Give it some time, if you are a fan who must have it don’t make the same mistake I did, wait and give the price a chance to drop. Also I know it’s the internet age but you can always go into a Barns and Noble and check it out for yourself, spend 45 minutes with it, if you must have it get it. If you feel like you are fine waiting till it gets cheaper or you just don’t like it that’s fine two. It’s not really going to to tell you much that is not already in the books or on wiki pages.
My advice is to hit the book store and check it out for yourself, you may or may not like it, nothing wrong with test driving something you pay for. If you want to read Martin maybe try the Ice Dragon which was just rereleased not long ago and is only 11 bucks on Amazon.
It’s not a bad book I am just not sure what it is, It’s a sort of history, in world unreliable POV story, illustrated guide to Westeros with pretty pictures, and little new information, that was sort of written by 3 different people.
Most of what I am saying is not huge deal, it has it’s good points, it really does, the biggest problem I have is that the book goes out of it’s way to make it look like it was written by Martin. All you have to do is look at the cover, Martins name in big giant letters. I see fans writing reviews and giving this book 5 stars and they say if you are expecting a story written by Martin this is not the book for you. Well of course people are expecting Martin to have written it, his name appears in big giant letters on the cover of the book which is about the world he created. Why wouldn’t you have expected him to have written it, not all fans of his work hang out on Not a blog and A forum of ice and fire.

More of a reference tool than a readable book
There’s no denying that this book is beautifully done. It’s WAY larger than I’d expected, and it’s clear that years of effort went into the production. After reading through it for a few days, I’ve concluded that it’s only real flaw is that it’s… well… kinda boring.
I get the premise… that it’s supposed to be written by a maester who is compiling the history from several sources, which is cute, but it really bogs down the writing. Rather than writing out the history as various stories, many entries are along the lines of: «They were known as the hairy men. Some say they came from here, but others say they came from there. While many believed they could do this, others said they could do that, and still others say they never existed.» At the end of a long, drawn out paragraph about people that are completely irrelevant to the Ice and Fire stories, I feel more confused than when I started. After a few massive pages of this stuff, it’s hard to stay interested.
Don’t get me wrong… there’s still plenty of interesting info in this book. But do I really need to know about the personality of some random Targaryen’s fifth wife? Then sixth? Then seventh? This book really works better as an encyclopedia to reference as you read the books and watch the show, rather than a book you’d read cover-to-cover (which would take a lot of dedication, patience and time).
It’s an impressive book that answers a lot of questions you probably have, but I am a little disappointed that it’s not more readable. I was ready to plow through it as I waited for the next Ice and Fire book, but now I’m not sure that’s going to happen.

DESCRIPCIÓN Y/O SINOPSIS DE ESTE EBOOK

I never meant to be here: tied up in bed next to a serial killer.

When I followed him home, I was just playing Nancy Drew. Trying to find out his secret. His kiss was intoxicating, and I thought he was harmless.

I was wrong.

Nancy Drew never ended up in a basement, handcuffed to a radiator, teased to the edge of insanity, begging to be let go.

Soon, I stopped begging to be let go.

Soon, I started begging to be HIS.

Author’s Note: This is a dark romance novel with mature themes that might make some readers uncomfortable.

Suspenseful, unexpected, disturbing and oh so beautiful
His propelled me on an unexpected ride that had me cringing at times and then cheering for love to lead to redemption. We meet Kat at the library and she boldly follows her friends dare to kiss the next cute guy she sees. Her interaction with the man in the elevator pushes her to break out of her shell and she ends up following the mystery man, Gav, to his home. Now, this seems innocent enough until she looks in the window and from this moment forward she has sealed her fate to be Gav’s prisoner. Gav lives by a code and Kat doesn’t factor into his tidy world. Yes, he is a serial killer that only preys on men that abuse their wives and children so Kat isn’t someone he wants to kill but he can’t let her go because of what she has seen. At the same time, Gav is attracted to Kat.
I was definitely out of my comfort zone with this story but at the same time I had to keep reading to find out what would happen with Kat and Gav. As they get to know each other they find there is a kinship with their tortured childhoods. Yes, I wanted Gav to find peace and redemption which seemed warped even to me since he is a killer. You need to read for yourself to see if what happens is how the story should have ended.

Dark & Delicious!!
Kat was dared/taunted into kissing the first cute guy that she saw. Little did she know that just by this one little jest between friends, she might have just found her secret dream Dom and that her entire world would be forever changed. I have to admit that when I started this book, right from the first couple of sentences actually, that this would be the one book that I wouldn’t be able to read. However I am not the type of reader that will judge an entire book by the first paragraph and I refuse to stop reading a book that quickly. So I kept reading and by the time I got to the first of Kat’s story views, I was hooked & drawn in and the next thing I knew I was on Chapter 11!!!! I just couldn’t put the book down (technically my tablet, but hey, you get the picture! Lol) and I was rapidly heading further in even though I was so tired I could hardly even keep my eyes open! That first impression that was very hastily made, almost made me stop reading what ended up being a frenetic & very deep dark romantic-ish book! Not anywhere near my usual genre of paranormal, but I have heard that it is good to venture out of your comfort zone, and I now can see why!! Be warned that this is a dark romance, but I use the term “romance” lightly, as it is more about finding & saving each other, bringing light into their dark places, chasing the shadows away, trying to find something beyond the things that haunt them. All in all, I am glad I read this book and I would read more like this by Aubrey any day!

Awesome book! Can’t wait for more from this author!
This book was great! I would highly recommend it to anyone who is into the darker reads. I loved the character development. I loved the dialogue. The only disappointment is there wasn’t more. Hopefully Aubrey will put another one out, because I’d love to see what happens next with this couple! (not a cliffhanger ending- I just want more!)

Moriarty de Anthony Horowitz

DESCRIPCIÓN Y/O SINOPSIS DE ESTE EBOOK

The game is once again afoot in this thrilling mystery from the bestselling author of The House of Silk, sanctioned by the Conan Doyle estate, which explores what really happened when Sherlock Holmes and his arch nemesis Professor Moriarty tumbled to their doom at the Reichenbach Falls.

Internationally bestselling author Anthony Horowitz’s nail-biting new novel plunges us back into the dark and complex world of detective Sherlock Holmes and Moriarty—dubbed the Napoleon of crime” by Holmes—in the aftermath of their fateful struggle at the Reichenbach Falls.

Days after the encounter at the Swiss waterfall, Pinkerton detective agent Frederick Chase arrives in Europe from New York. Moriarty’s death has left an immediate, poisonous vacuum in the criminal underworld, and there is no shortage of candidates to take his place—including one particularly fiendish criminal mastermind.

Chase and Scotland Yard Inspector Athelney Jones, a devoted student of Holmes’s methods of investigation and deduction originally introduced by Conan Doyle in “The Sign of Four”, must forge a path through the darkest corners of England’s capital—from the elegant squares of Mayfair to the shadowy wharfs and alleyways of the London Docks—in pursuit of this sinister figure, a man much feared but seldom seen, who is determined to stake his claim as Moriarty’s successor.

A riveting, deeply atmospheric tale of murder and menace from the only writer to earn the seal of approval from Conan Doyle’s estate, Moriarty breathes life into Holmes’s dark and fascinating world.

OPINIONES:

The Game’s (Newly) Afoot!
I admit I’m a written Holmes virgin. I love the Cumberbatch Sherlock. I love the Downey Jr Holmes movies. I even enjoy the Johnny Lee Miller Elementary. I’d never read any of Sherlock Holmes’ exploits. With that being said, I didn’t what to expect when I picked up Anthony Horowitz’s Moriarty. Suffice it to say, after finishing the book in two days, I’m hooked.
Moriarty is the story of the aftermath of the events at Reichbach Falls, in a London overrun with Americans and crime. Our protagonists, Scottland Yard Detective Athelney Jones and, to a lesser extent, Pinkerton Agent Frederick Chase, are on the case to catch the newest criminals in the London underworld.
Jones is immediately reminiscent of Holmes, in part because he wants to prove himself to be a suitable successor to Holmes. When I read his initial interaction with Chase, I must admit I found myself with Cumberbatch’s voice in my head, which is never a bad thing. The interaction between the two throughout the novel is familiar, but different enough from the Holmes-Watson relationship that it doesn’t feel like a rip off, which I really appreciated.
The book actually took me a little bit of getting used to, not having read any of the Doyle novels previously, because I wasn’t prepared for the narration style. It took me about 40 pages to get into it, but once I did, I couldn’t put the book down. I actually didn’t know Horowitz had written books for adults; my wife is a fourth grade teacher so his name was most familiar to me from his Alex Rider young adult series. But have no fear: he’s a brilliant novelist and I look forward to reading more from him, especially his previous Holmes effort, House of Silk. It’s no surprise to me that he’s fully endorsed by the Doyle estate.
Moriarty is a gripping, fast paced romp that I highly recommend. Anthony Horowitz is at home continuing the Sherlock Holmes mythos, and I look forward to what else is to come.

Yes, the game is afoot and the end is quite a kicker
It’s been a few years since I read Arthur Conan Doyle’s stories about Holmes and Watson, but reading this felt just like a continuation. The exposition and style of writing of Horowitz’s book fits right in without being overly imitative. As a matter of fact, I have to say this was the most exciting crime investigation story I’ve read in a very long time.
No Holmes or Watson to be found in this, however. It takes place immediately after the events at Reichenbach Falls and Holmes and Moriarty are believed to have fallen to their deaths. The main protagonists here are Scotland Yard detective Athelney Jones and Pinkerton investigator Frederick Chase, who serves as first person narrator of the tale.
Jones is investigating the deaths, with only one body to be found, that of Moriarty, it is believed. Chase is in England to find a big-time U.S. crime boss and his cohorts who have come to England to extend their activities internationally. Chase believes there is a connection between these criminals and Moriarty.
And so it goes. Jones and Chase develop a very friendly working relationship, with Chase playing «Watson» to Jones’ Sherlock Holmes type. Jones, BTW, is an actual Conan Doyle character who figured in a few Sherlock Holmes stories as a wannabe Holmes-method investigator. In this book, it seems that he has developed his abilities to a great degree and is almost Holmes-like in his deductions and conclusions. Chase, on the other hand, seems slightly denser than Watson ever was.
What an adventure this is. The reader doesn’t feel the absence of Holmes or Watson in the least in this hugely exciting and entertaining crime story, and the ending is superb. I did not see that coming!
Keep on writing these, please, Mr. Horowitz. Your The House of Silk: A Sherlock Holmes Novel was great and this new MORIARTY is perhaps even better.

The devil is in the details – read it twice
I love the original Sherlock novels and many of the modern spin-offs as well. However, there are so many spin-offs lately that Sherlock feels watered down or just not original, so I almost passed this book up. I’m very glad I didn’t.
From the moment I opened the book, it felt like I was reading an original Sherlock Holmes. This books picks up immediately after Reichenbach Falls. A new wave of crime surges through London and even the criminals are running scared. Can Inspector Athelney Jones and his new friend, Frederick Chase, foil the new mastermind behind the vicious crimes?
Jones has been disrespected by Holmes on occasion and studies his methods. He so enjoys the company of Chase, that he hopes for an eventual partnership – Like Holmes and Watson. The two work well together while trying to solve this mystery, but will it last?
I did not want to put this book down. ‘Moriarty’ provides every element of a good mystery – lots of suspense, action, great character development and ends with an unsuspected twist. Read it twice, the first time for the mystery, the second to catch the little bits you missed.
Actually, I enjoyed this book more than I did the original Sir Arthur Conan Doyle books. I’m going to look for more books by Anthony Horowitz.

Westin will be your next BBF! He’s a sexy charmer you will love!
Scarlett Ryan goes “home” to be a bridesmaid for her best friend and plans to only go to the wedding and get the hell out of town. She doesn’t want to run into her parents, whom she ran away from in the first place. Little does she know, she runs into the one man that broke her back in high school. He up and left one day without a word, Scarlett never knew why.
Westin Carver has grown up and looks better than ever and he’s very successful. He refuses to let Scarlett go again. He starts to visit Scarlett at her bakery, which she owns with her aunt in Maine. She loves this town and never plans to leave. She will never move back to California to be near her manipulative parents.
“I am in love with you and I want to be with you, for real. I want commitment and dates and holding hands on the sidewalk. I want it all.”
Claimed by You is a powerful story of a man and woman who have never gotten over their first loves and try to find a way back to each other after 8 years. There are some twists that will leave you in shock! Claimed by you is a must read, the steamy hot sex scenes is definitely panty melting. I absolutely loved Westin, he is a charmer ladies. I may have just found another BBF to add to my list.
“It’s here, in moments like this, that I remember how and why I love Westin as deeply and as unconditionally as I do. Such a strong powerful man and yet with me, his vulnerability knows no bounds.”

When Avery Hensley met Conner Wellings, she thought she’d found the guy she was going to spend the rest of her life with. She got married young and had the most beautiful son in the world.

Life seemed perfect.

But not everything is what it seems.

Turned out Conner had another side to him, a darker side that Avery didn’t see coming. He wrecked and broke her into a thousand pieces, leaving Avery to put herself back together. From then on, Avery vows never to let a man into her life again.

But then she meets Tristan Morganson. He’s sweet and sexy and wrecks Avery in a different way than Conner did, the kind of way that makes her feel alive again, the kind of way that makes her think maybe not all guys are bad. But can Avery trust him enough to let her walls come crumbling down?

OPINIONES:

Wreck Me by Jessica Sorensen is the best book in the Nova series. It was a powerful and thought provoking romance!
The Nova series by Jessica Sorensen is one of the most emotional series I have read. I have become invested in the characters lives. I feel like they are like my children or friend’s of my children that I care very deeply about. I was devastated by their poor choices and elated when they began to turn their lives around. I watched them struggle with their past family lives and mistakes that led them down the road of destruction. My heart broke as their lives sank to the lowest points. I breathed a sigh of relief when they finally reached the turning point that would turn their lives around into something positive. I wanted to hold their hand while they struggled to overcome their addictions and become better people. Each and every one of the characters in this series has a piece of my heart. One of these characters stood out throughout the series. He was a lost soul and yet there was something special hidden away from the world. Although he was a leading character throughout the series, his background was lightly touched upon. It has made readers curious as to what drove him over the edge. We are finally getting the full story in Wreck Me. We are finally getting to know the real Tristan Morganson.
Tristan Morganson is finally clean and sober. He is drug free but struggles daily to remain so. His life doesn’t have much direction and he really doesn’t have any personal goals other than staying clean. He is basically existing day to day, hour to hour, minute to minute. Part of his struggle is that he really doesn’t know who he is or where he fits in. He lived in the shadows of his older, overachieving sister. His parents set their expectations of him through her standards, rather than encouraging him to find his own path and strengths. When tragedy strikes the family and his sister is killed in a car accident it sets his downward spiral motion into warped speed. After several close calls with death he finally wants to live. He wants to find his purpose in life and a place to feel like he belongs. He is on a new path in life and that path leads to Avery Hensley.
While working for Habitat for Humanity, Tristan meets Avery when their crew goes to North Carolina to build her a house. One night out with her changes the way the thinks. He has met someone that somehow understood the daily struggles he faced and believed he could make the right kind of choices. He doesn’t have to spill his sordid past or validate his actions. Somehow he senses that Avery has experienced some of the same kind of ugly things he has.
Avery has had a very abusive past. Her ex husband not only ruined her life, he abused her in so many ways. She gave up her hopes and dreams for him. Through their horrific marriage one thing good came out of it. Her son. She will do everything in her power to stay sober and give her son a good life full of love. She struggles daily to keep her head above water, keep the bills paid, and give back the second chance she was given in life. When she meets Tristan she realizes this is her opportunity.
Tristan and Avery begin a beautiful friendship that is built upon their faith in one another. They both seem to understand one another. For the first time they are not only finding what true friendship means, they are finding the good things about themselves. Their past does not define them, it is only one small part of who they are. Together they can conquer some of their demons, find a way to put the past in the right perspective, learn to accept and give love, and look to the future.
When the past comes back in a very threatening way, they will face it together. They will not let it destroy the new lives they have worked so hard to get. They will learn to accept the things they cannot change and move forward.
Wreck Me was a powerful story. It is a story of redemption. It is a story of healing. It is a story of learning to love oneself. It is a story of learning to give unconditional love.
Tristan’s story was well worth the wait and my favorite in this series. Jessica Sorensen gave him the future he desperately needed. She gave him Avery Hensley.
I highly recommend Wreck Me. It can be read as a stand alone novel or in series order. I love the Nova series. I am looking forward to the next book in this series. Avery’s younger brother Jax needs to find his personal happily ever after. He’s a great guy that also survived a very ugly past and came out better than most would of.

Wow so…
I think this series is my favorite.
I’m so thankful for this book right now, I’ve been craving a book that’s going to cause a hangover for moths and this one has done just that…already.
Whenever I get finished with one of these books I just have to sit and think and soak it all in before I can write a review and then when I think I’m ready I still think my review isn’t good enough, that it won’t do the book justice. I’m going to try though. This book, these books, this whole series has WRECKED ME, this book is so appropriately named it’s not funny. As I read Quinton’s books and Delilah’s book I felt it all, deep down. Tristan’s book was much the same, but more so because Avery has a story too. A horribly sad heart breaking story that we get to see in time with Tristan’s and it add so much to this book. Their pasts are like this huge black cloud hovering over them all the time and I just hoped while reading the whole thing that these two would just get a break. Be happy. Be in love, and able to trust. Their journey was a hard one so many things happened that its hard to think anyone could be as strong as they were. I loved that even though Avery was as cautious as she was she finally let go, that she decided living this life was what she wanted, what she needed. Tristan was hard to read for me I was worried about him the more I read about his past. The things he had to deal with, no wonder he lived the way he did. His decisions seemed liked all the wrong ones but it wasn’t on purpose he was just so lost. Thankfully while this book was heartbreaking the love story that’s hidden within was worth it. These two are so much stronger than they give them self credit for which made this story so easy to read. I didn’t put it down once I picked it up. I can’t wait to see where Ruin Me takes us, but I can’t help but hope for happiness for both of these couples and maybe a bit more of Jax, who has definitely piqued my interest.
Read this book, despite the impending book hangover you won’t regret it!

Amazing story!
I love the characters in this book. Avery and Tristan’s chemistry was amazing, despite Avery and her «rules» of engaging with the opposite sex. They were fun, flirty–oh so flirty–and just fit each other.
Avery’s character was strong, though she had to overcome a lot of bad things (really, truly horrible things that I did not expect!) and start at rock bottom to build herself up. Her obstacles made her a stronger person who worked hard to get where she wanted to be in life. She’s caring and nurturing, stubborn, and strong. And let me just add that her ex is a dirtbag, piece of SH**! Really, REALLY hated that guy by the end of the book, and he seemed just too perfect in the beginning. Argh!
Tristan, well, if you read the rest of the Nova series, you know this guy is a mess. I really liked reading the bits of his back story. Again, this is another person who had to hit rock bottom to build themselves up. Actually, both characters had to basically DIE to overcome what life handed them. Tristan had very low self-esteem, but was capable of building up Avery’s. He constantly struggled with his addictions in this book and kept winding up in bad situations. Poor guy couldn’t catch a break.
The characters come together, showing each other support, that someone cares, and they don’t have to be alone in their journey to live a fulfilling life. Amazing story!
This book is a standalone.

No Limits de Ian Poulter

DESCRIPCIÓN Y/O SINOPSIS DE ESTE EBOOK

Ian Poulter is one of golf’s most charismatic figures, with an appeal extending way beyond his sport.

Here he tells his inspirational story, from his early rejection as an Arsenal youth player, right through to his match-winning contributions to successive European Ryder Cup triumphs.

Poulter went from an Assistant Professional staffing the club shop to a global superstar, turning pro when he still had a handicap of 4 but the drive and self-belief to make it to the top. As well as insights into the crucial moments in his career, and the life of a professional golfer, he talks about his passions outside the game, including his own riotous brand of clothing.

Just as Poulter’s appearance on the scene came as a refreshing antidote to a sport that was often staid and stuffy, so his own book is as forthright and passionate as Poults himself.
